Akshay Nasa Continues To Crush, Wins His 4th Adda52 Millions For INR 5,60,000

Yesterday saw Adda52 hosting its flagship tournament – 20 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions. The 11K buy-in event drew a strong field of 193 entries, which included several top pros, regs and the past winners. Dominating this strong field was none other than New Delhi’s Akshay Nasa aka ‘vibaks’ who defeated Mumbai’s Shravan Chhabria aka ‘sweatmyass13’ heads-up to ship his fourth Adda52 Millions. Nasa took home INR 5,60,000 for his win, while Chhabria, who holds the record of winning this tournament 5 times, settled for INR 3,36,000. Yesterday turned out to be a big day for Chhabria as the online grinder also won Mega Suits on Adda52, taking home INR 6,39,600 in top prizemoney.

The young gun Nasa has been playing on Adda52 for several years and his journey has been amazing. He has been crushing it on Adda52. Last year was a big year for him as he won more than a dozen of tournaments, including Whale 6-Max (won 2 times), Adda52 Millions ( won 2 times), Beast (won 3 times), Juice, Judwaa, Maverick, Mega Suits and Sunday Masters to name a few. Apart from notching big wins that year, Nasa made multiple runner-up and FT finishes in Adda52 Millions, Whale 6-Max, Godfather and other key events on Adda52. As for 2019, he got off to a great start by winning his 4^th Beast and making multiple FTs in Adda52 Millions and other popular tournaments.

To win the latest Adda52 Millions, Nasa beat a strong field and tough final table that featured the likes of last night’s Mega Suits winner Shravan Chhabria (2^nd for INR 3,36,000), Romit Advani (3^rd for INR 2,54,000), Vinay B (4^th for INR 1,80,000) and Siddarth Singhvi (6^th for INR 90,000). In this event, Nas entered the final table with about half of chips in play and dominated all the way.

A total of 19 places were paid out in yesterday’s Adda52 Millions with a minimum payout of INR 20,000. Some notables to cash were Adda52 Team Pro Tarun Goyal (7^th for INR 75,000), Rajat Sharma (9^th for INR 45,000), PSL Co-Founder Pranav Bagai (12^th for INR 34,000), Kanishka Samant (14th for INR 29,000) and Adda52 Team Pro Kunal Patni who finished 19th for INR 20,000.

Post his win, we got in touch with the eventual winner Nasa and he said, “It feels really good to close it. As usual, the field was filled with fishes in early stages and a plethora of bad regs at the end. I entered the FT with about half chips in play and no one except Shravan was trying to play for the win. Luckily, I played my hands well and got paid against him in a couple of spots and ended up winning it”.

When asked about his plans for the 2019 WSOP ahead, Nasa said, “I still haven’t made my bookings for WSOP due to some personal reasons. However, I will attend as much of the series as I can.”
