This past Sunday saw India’s No. 1 Poker Site – Adda52 hosting its flagship tournament – 25 Lac GTD Mega Suits. The INR 5,500 event attracted a strong field of 481 entries. After several hours of tough battles, it was Harsh Dembla aka ‘‘BuddhaBhikari’’ who won the tournament for INR 6,12,500.
To claim his first Mega Suits win, Dembla outlasted a strong FT that had good regs in Rohit Mishra who finished runner-up for INR 3,62,500, Devang Yadav (5th for INR 1,25,000), Srihari Bang (7th for INR 68,750), Kunal Vohra (8th for INR 56,250) and Amit Sur who exited in 9th place for INR 40,000.
The top 49 were paid with a min-cash of INR 13,750. Some known regs to finish deep were Ujjwal Narwal (10th for INR 31250), Sagar Choudhury (13th for INR 25,000), Mihir Thakkar (15th for INR 25,000), Gaurav Sood (18th for INR 21,250) and Eka Vedantham (20th place for INR 18,750).
This is not the first win for Dembla on Adda52 as the talented player has won several tournaments like Sunday Suits and Blaze, apart from finishing runner-up in Roar, Beast and CrackJack. Some of his deep runs over the last one year include plenty of FTs in Beast, a couple of FTs in Godfather, Sunday Suits, Judwaa, CrackJack, Whale 6-Max, Blaze and Maverick to name a few. Last night, he added one more score by shipping Mega Suits for INR 6,12,500, which is by far his best online score on Adda52.
Post his win, we caught-up with Dembla and he said, “It feels great to win the first Mega Suits. The field was a little soft in comparison to the previous Sundays as most of the top regs were busy in Vegas.”
Talking about his experience and journey, he said, “Experience was really good. I was chip leader from the start of tourney and lost it in final 2 table but played solid in final table and was able to close it.”
