Sundays are always big on India’s No. 1 Poker Site – Adda52 and yesterday was no exception. The poker site hosted its two major tournaments – 20 Lac GTD Big Slick and 25 Lac GTD Mega Suits. The first tournament was won by ‘avinkon’ for INR 3,53,880, while the second one found a winner in none other than Vidur Singhal aka ‘bullgod89’ who outlasted 494 entries to take home INR 6,12,500
20 Lac GTD Big Slick
The first tournament this Sunday was the 20 Lac GTD Big Slick and it attracted a total field of 880 entries ( including 310 re-entries). The INR 2,200 buy-in tournament began at 5pm and lasted for more than 8 hours. In the end, it was ‘avinkon’ who emerged victorious after beating The Roar winner ‘Vickyarikeri’ in heads-up. ‘Vickyarikeri’ took home INR 2,56,810 as a runner-up finisher, while the eventual winner ‘avinkon’ bagged the first-place prizemoney of INR 3,53,880 for his victory.
The final table of this online event had some good regs in Nikhil Ramesh (3rd for INR 1,86,367), Balaji Sadhanala (4th for INR 1,35,247), Vinay B (7th for INR 51,689) and Anubhav Ray (8th for INR 37,511).
A total of top 89 places were paid out in this tournament with min-cashes starting from INR 7,594. Some notable regs who finished deep were Siddarth Singhvi (10th for INR 19,755), Jaydeep Dawer (13th for INR 19,755), Himanshu Arora (16th for INR 14336) and Mani Singh (17th for INR 14,336).
Playing for over 2 years on Adda52, the player ‘avinkon’ has cashed several popular tournaments like Adda52 Millions, Big Millions and many others. The player has also made it to the final table in various events. However, yesterday he topped all his previous cashes by taking down Big Slick.
25 Lac GTD Mega Suits
The biggest tournament of Sunday night on Adda52 was 25 Lac GTD Mega Suits, which began at 8 PM and ended at 5:42 AM this morning. The INR 5,500 buy-in tournament drew a total of 494 entries. Topping the field was none other than Vidur Singhal aka ‘bullgod89’ who took home a good INR 6,12,500 for his win. He reached heads-up with the well-known reg – Manish Lakhotia who played well but couldn’t go all the way, eventually finishing as runner-up for INR 3,62,500.
The online grinder Abhishek Garg finished 6th for 87,500 in this tournament. Top 49 finishers made money with a min-cash being INR 13,750. Among some notable regs who finished deep were Laksh Pal Singh (10th for INR 31,250), Raman Gujral (14th for INR 25,000), Ankit Wadhawan (16th for INR 21,250), Sunny Tuteja (18th for INR 21,250) and Amit Sur who exited in 19th place for INR 21,250.
Known for his exploits on offline felts, Singhal has already won several tournaments on Adda52, including Wednesday Wheel. However, the Mega Suits win is his biggest score on the poker site. While Singhal was not available for the comment, he must be very happy by claiming his best score.
