The first tournament was taken down by Anshul Rajput aka ‘POKERBRAT123’ for INR 2,70,041, while Mega Suits found a winner in Shaik Kaleem Pasha aka ‘fishwithnuts’ who outlasted a field of 441 entries to earn INR 5,09,111.
15 Lac GTD Big Slick
The first headline tournament on Sunday was 15 Lac GTD Big Slick and it drew a field of 642 entries (including 223 re-entries). The INR 2,200 buy-in tourney began at 5 pm and lasted close to 8 hours. In the end, it was Anshul Rajput aka ‘POKERBRAT123’ who took it down after defeating ‘ikkatikka’ in heads-up. Rajput took home INR 2,70,041, while ‘ikkatikka’ earned INR 1,97,940 for his efforts.
It was not an easy win for Rajput as he had to face some solid regs at the final table, including Lokimon (3rd for INR 1,45,089), incredible7493 (5th for INR 77,954) and Peacelover (6th 57,140).
Top 71 players were paid out in this online poker tournament with a min-cash of INR 7,130. Some of those who finished deep were rajpo11 (7th for 41,884), thor86 (8th for INR 30,701), nhsr (9th for INR 22,503), ramanujan (10th for INR 16,495), Bhajji (11th for INR 16,495), acilis (12th for INR 16,495), ishuv (13th for INR 16,495), kapoorchandra (14th for INR 12,091) and Ydc1234 (15th for INR 12,091).
Rajput has been playing on adda52.com for several years and his journey has been good so far. The player has plenty of online scores to his name and has already won several tournaments on adda52, including The Roar, Monday Adda and Saturday Adda. Last night, he added one more score to his resume by taking down Big Slick for INR 2,70,041, which is by far his biggest score on the poker site.
25 Lac GTD Mega Suits
The biggest highlight of Sunday night on Adda52 was Mega Suits, a 25 Lac GTD tournament that began at 8pm and lasted close to 9 hours. The INR 5,500 buy-in tournament drew a field of 441 entries and outlasting the field this time was Shaik Kaleem Pasha aka ‘fishwithnuts’ who beat a solid a player in Anil Adiani aka ‘spewtard’ to earn an impressive 5,09,111 for his win. Adiani who holds several deep runs in live and online events walked away with INR 4,65,889 for his runner-up finish.
To claim his victory, Pasha outlasted a strong final table that included good regs in Sravanth Reddy (4th for 187,500), Akshay Nasa (5th for INR 1,25,000), Varun Patravali (6th for INR 87500) and Rubin Labroo (8th for INR 56,250) who has already won the Godfather 9.0 and Mega Suits on Adda52.
A total of 49 places were paid out in last night’s Mega Suits. Some known regs to finish deep were ‘poker27’ (10th for INR 31,250), ‘HaiTohHai’ (12th for INR 25,000), ‘Lokimon’ (16th for INR 21’250) and Adda52 Celebrity Pro Minissha Lamba who ended up finishing 19th for INR 21,250 prizemoney.
