Paawan Bansal Leads 14 Survivors Into Day 3 Of The DPT 35K Main Event!
DPT 35K Main Event will see another champion as it is set to conclude today with India’s prominent pro Paawan Bansal leading the final 14 survivors into Day 3 of the prestigious tournament, which has attracted an impressive field of 448 entries generating a hefty prizepool of INR 1,50,03,520.
Day 2 of the event saw 152 contenders attacking the poker tables in an attempt to amass huge stacks and scoop up the top of INR 30,00,000. As Day 2 progressed, the field was gradually reduced to 14 contenders and it was Paawan Bansal who ended the day as the chip leader with a stack of 22,65,000. Currently ranked 7th in ‘India All Time Money List’ with $611,795 in total live earnings, Bansal is a highly talented pro and had finished 2nd in The CLOSER event of the WSOP 2018 to claim his career-best INR $378,765. The player who notched up multiple cashes at the 2019 WSOP has already won two prestigious poker titles under his belt and will be looking to add one more today.
Following Bansal in chips is Ankur Sehgal who eliminated several players towards the close of the day and amassed 19,45,000. Third in chips is Samit Mehta (14,35,000) and he is followed by Adda52 Team Pro Tarun Goyal (13,70,000). Here are the chip counts of the final 14 survivors:
