WSOP 2020 Schedule To Feature 9 High Roller Events With Buy-Ins Between $25K To $250K!

There are less than four months to go for the world’s biggest and richest poker festival – the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP), which is slated to run from May 26 to July 15, 2020 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. While the BIG 50 $500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em will fill the Rio during the first weekend of the most-awaited poker series, the high roller action will be commencing very soon. According to a press release made by the WSOP on January 29, there will be 9 high roller events on this year’s schedule, with three of them spanning over a week from May 29 to June 5.

“We have something for everyone on the 2020 World Series of Poker schedule and the high rollers are no exception. The High Roller Series are great spectacles for the fans and a challenging series of events is sure to bring out the game’s best and those looking to take them on”, said WSOP Vice President Jack Effel.

The first high roller event on the schedule is a $25,000 buy-in NLH event that gets underway on May 29. The $25,000 buy-in heads-up no-limit hold’em begins on May 31st, and will have a 64-player cap. The third early high roller is a $50,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em event, which starts on June 5.

The middle of the high roller schedule will have a $25K buy-in PLO High Roller on June 17, which is followed by the $50K buy-in Poker Players Championship on June 22. The next event is the $250K buy-in Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em on June 27 – the highest buy-in event on the schedule.

The final three high rollers of the series are scheduled between July 7-11, with a first-ever $50,000 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha event on July 7, followed by a $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em event on July 9. The last event of the high roller series will be a $100,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event on July 11.
