The INR 5.2 Crore GTD Adda52 Online Poker Series is more than halfway through and yesterday wrapped-up the Day 6, where we had a total of five tournaments on the schedule, four of which declared winners. The biggest tournament to crown a winner was the 15 Lac GTD Maverick where the well-known online regular Bhola Sharma aka ‘bhola’ emerged victorious and walked away with INR 3.53 Lac top prize. The day also saw the last starting flight of the 25 Lac GTD AOPS Freeze – Day 1D where Kamal Naruka aka ‘ksn123’ topped 40 survivors. Another big story of the day was Rishi Mundhra aka ‘ronaldo94’ who shipped two events back-to-back. Here is a quick summary of Day 6:
Event# 1- 2.5 Lac GTD AOPS Warm Up
Day 6 of the AOPS began with the 2.5 Lac GTD AOPS Warm-Up featuring INR 1250 buy-in. In the end, online grinder Rishi ‘ronaldo94’ Mundhra emerged victorious to pocket INR 69,973 top prizemoney after outlasting ‘Aarut’ in the heads-up. The event attracted a field of 224 entries, generating INR 2.54 Lac prize pool, which was finally distributed among the top 24 places with a min-cash of INR 2,167.
Some notables to finish ITM in the tournament included ‘peushup’ (4th), Srihari Bang (5th), Naren Purohit (7th ), Anil Adiani (11th ), Mihir Thakkar (13th ), and Deepak Singh (15th) to name a few.
Event# 2 – 1.5 Lac GTD AOPS Knockout
The second event – the 1.5 Lac GTD AOPS Knockout – was once again won by Rishi Mundhra aka ‘ronaldo94’ who outlasted a 179-entry field to win INR 42,000 in top prize. Top 19 were paid in the event and some notables among them were Mihir Thakkar (4th), Monish Kumar (7th), Ram Kakkar (9th), Amit Sur (13th), and ‘sharptooth’ (18th) who shipped AOPS Inceptions a few days back.
Event# 3- 1.5 Lac GTD AOPS Siesta
The third event on yesterday’s schedule was the 1.5 Lac GTD Siesta featuring INR 9,90 buy-in. The event pulled in a total of of 157 entries and coming out on top was an Adda52 regular in ‘peushup’ who eventually defeated another reg in ‘Aarchit’ to walk away with INR 34,702 top prizemoney.
Top 17 were paid in the tournament and some notables among them to finish in the money were Narendra Purohit (4th), Srihari Bang (11th), Sandeep Varma (14th) and Abhishek Garg (17th).
Event# 4 – 15 Lac GTD AOPS Maverick
The biggest event to declare a winner on Day 6 was the 15 Lac GTD AOPS Maverick. The 2,500 buy-in event pulled in a total of 763 entries to comfortably cross its advertised guarantee and generate INR 17.35 Lac prize pool, which was shared by the top 82 finishers. In the end, the largest share of the prizepool went on to former DPT Xpress Main Event champion Bhola Sharma aka ‘bhola’ who captured INR 3.53 Lac after outlasting his heads-up mate – ‘Amod1001’ who settled for INR 2.74 Lac.

Event# 5 – 25 Lac AOPS Freeze Day 1D
The last AOPS event on the Wednesday schedule was the final flight – Day 1D of the 25 Lac GTD AOPS Freeze where a total of 129 entries were registered. Following 22 levels of play, the day ended with Kamal Naruka aka ‘ksn123’ bagging the largest stack of 142,971 among 40 survivors. Following him were Sanat Mehrotra with 137,688 chips and ‘4AcesClub’ bagging 135,747 chips.
