Farid Jattin has emerged victorious in the partypoker MILLIONS South America $10,300 High Roller Finale. The Columbian player outlasted a strong field of 84 entries to earn $200,000 in top prize.
Already on top of his country’s All-Time Money List, Jattin secured this win after he recently chopped the Aussie Millions A$25,000 Challenge at Aussie Millions for $680,000 and won the $25,000 PLO at the Australian Poker Open. The partypoker MILLIONS South America $10,300 High Roller was a two-day event and the money bubble was reached on Day 2 in Damian Salas whose King-ten lost to Michael Del Vecchio’s kings. Salas’s exit in the 13th place left the remaining 12 players in the money.
Former WSOP champion Kevin MacPhee (9th ) bubbled the final table where Jattin went on to outlast everyone. Jattin became aggressive on the final table and his aggression earned him big pot when he doubled through Mike Del Vecchio whose J-ten lost to Jattin’s Aces. Another big pot for Jattin came when he busted Hilario Quijada in 3rd place. He had picked up aces, which crushed Quijada’ deuces.
The heads-up began between Jattin and Rodrigo Seiji with both players holding almost near-even in chips. However, Jattin quickly got ahead and was eventually able to ship it. On the final hand of the event, Jattin had ace-six, which bested Seiji’s queen-deuce, earning the former the coveted title.
