Wednesday-Thursday Majors: Vikram Ved Batra Wins Adda52’s Maverick; ‘mannu425’ Ships Godfather!

Yesterday being Thursday, it was yet again time for Adda52’s flagship tournament – the 25 Lac GTD Godfather that logged in a total of 569 entries (259 unique and 310 re-entries), easily surpassing its specified guarantee and generating a massive INR 28.45 Lac in prizepool. The lion’s share of the prizepool eventually went to ‘mannu425’ who defeated ‘tenduo’ in heads-up to bank INR 6.68 Lac.

Top 63 were paid out in last night’s Godfather with a min-cash of INR 12,091. The final table featured some solid regs in Aditya Chaudhary (4^th for INR 1,99,150), Siddarth Singhvi (5^th for INR 1,42,250), Vishwanath Borhade (6^th for INR 99,575) and Shanmughasundaram Nishaanth (8^th for INR 56900).

Other prominent players who finished deep in the tournament included the likes of Meherzad Munsaf (10^th), Ashish Munot (12^th), Chirag Bhardwaj (14^th), Aditya Agarwal (16^th), Sam Anand (17^th), Shaik Kaleem Pasha (20^th), Ayush Garg (22^nd), Raghav Bansal (24^th) and Bhola Sharma (25^th).

Wednesday’s flagship event on adda52.com was the 10 Lac GTD Maverick, which turned out to be a grand success, attracting a guarantee-crushing field of 532 entries and generating INR 12.10 Lac prizepool, which was eventually distributed among the top 55 finishers. Coming out on top was a well-known reg in Vikram ‘swingtrader’ Ved Batra who outlasted poker phenom Sriharsha Doddapaneni aka ‘ivey2’ in heads-up to earn INR 2.90 Lac. Doddapaneni settled for INR 1.69 Lac.
