Once again, it was an eventful day for the poker fanatics registering themselves in the 7 + Crore GTD Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS). All six tournaments on the AOPS schedule yesterday wrapped up with a grand success, crushing their respective guarantees. Players earned quite well for their efforts and managed to take home big prizes. The biggest tournament on the Monday schedule was the 12.5 Lac GTD AOPS Inception that crowned a winner in seasoned pro Vidwath Shetty who walked away with INR 3.29 Lac for his win. The biggest tourney on the AOPS Day 5 schedule was the AOPS Inception that drew 598 entries and generated a prize pool of INR 19.13 Lac, which was shared by top 63 finishers. Eventually, the well-known pro Vidwath ‘phoenix66990’ Shetty emerged victorious to walk away with INR 3.29 Lac, after a 3-way deal with Rubin Labroo ( 2nd for INR 3 Lac) and Mihir Thakkar (3rd for INR 2.56 Lac).

Another key event on the AOPS schedule yesterday was the AOPS Falcon that attracted 242 entries. In the end, it was Ankit Modi aka ‘ankitmodi’ who took down the event for INR 1.37 Lac in top prize. He eventually clashed with Archit Dhadwal aka ‘Aarchit’ who finished runner-up for INR 80K prize.
The last night’s Falcon paid out top 24 finishers. Some well-known regs to finish deep in the event included the likes of Nagendra Singh Tomar (3rd for INR 60K), the previous AOPS Main Event winner Faiz Alam (9th for INR 10K), Naren Purohit (11th for INR 8750), and Dhaval Doshi (16th for INR 6250).

Adda52’s AOPS Hold-em 6-Max logged in a total of 266 entries, resulting in INR 6.65 Lac prize pool, which eventually got distributed among the top 27. It was Sandy ‘Narcos’ Lamba who eventually outlasted ‘chirandh’ (runner-up for INR 1.03 Lac) to bank a winner’s payday of INR 1.72 Lac.
Others who ran deep in the event were Vinay B (4th for INR 56,525), Aditya Kulkarni (6th for INR 28,263), Anurag Srivastava( 7th for INR 21,613), and Kunal Patni (8th for INR 16625) to name a few.

Other Winners From AOPS Day 5
The AOPS Day 5 kicked off with the 3 Lac GTD AOPS Warm-up that saw a field of 376 and generated INR 4.27 Lac in prizepool, which was distributed among the 38 players. Taking the lion’s share was ‘att1992’ who eventually defeated ‘balls86’ (2nd for INR 64,825) to walk away with INR 1.06 Lac.
Another event to conclude was the 1.5 Lac GTD AOPS Siesta that clocked in a total of 227 entries to crush its guarantee and generate INR 2.04 Lac prize shared by top 24 finishers. In the end, it was ‘mdrayeesuddin’ who won the event for INR 56,080, after defeating ‘NewbieA’ (INR 32,688) in HU.
The AOPS Day 5 concluded with the 1.5 Lac AOPS 11th HR PLO, which crowned a winner in ‘jacks24’ who defeated ‘villan1122’ (runner-up for INR 34,224) in heads-up to walk away wit INR 59,174. A total of 276 entries came in and this resulted in INR 2.20 Lac prizepool shared by top 30 finishers.
