Just a month ago, the inaugural Asian Poker Tour Online Series on Natural8 paid out more than $4.1 million in prizes across 62 events. In total, the series back then drew 18,555 entries and the largest prize pool was given away during the $500 Main Event, which generated $578,075 in prizepool.
It was Michael “DirtyDuck” Falcon who earned the biggest single prize of the series back then for topping a field of 753 entries in the $800 APT Championships to win $97,445. A well-known name on the Asian circuit, he also won another side event to win the APT Player of the Series leaderboard.
One of the Asia’s top poker brands, APT is back again with the 2nd edition of the APT Online Series in partnership with Natural8 – GGNetwork. The series runs from from 14th-28th June and offers a jaw-dropping $10 million in guarantees, making it the largest online poker series in Asian poker.
The first trophy of the series will be awarded on 14th June in the $50 APT Mini Main Event guaranteeing $200,000. Headlining the series will be $500 APT Main Event promising a hefty $1 million and $5,000 APT Super High Roller on 21st June. 28th June will mark the last day of the series with $800 APT Championship event that guarantees a prize pool of $1 million. Short Deck and Pot-Limit Omaha fans will also be able to battle for APT trophy for $400 buy-in. As usual, online satellites will be running on GGPoker Network with guaranteed tickets for the main events for as low as $1!
Apart from the APT Trophy and exciting prizes to be won during the series, players will also be able to hunt for the coveted Player of the Series title. The top three APT POS players will be awarded an exclusive APT POS ring and cash prizes ranging from $500 to $1,500. The marquee online series will feature 200 events, including the various flagship tournaments. And once again, Natural8 will run a leaderboard with $10,000 in cash prizes to reward the most consistent players during the series.
