The final events of the inaugural World Poker Tour (WPT) Online Series running from 3 to 31 May played out on partypoker this weekend, including Sunday’s $500K Gtd Weekender.
Brazil’s Rodrigo ‘selouan1991’ Selouan closed out the series with the largest score of the day after outlasting a 850-entry field of Event #55: $1,050 Weekender $500KGTD to collect a $151,725 payday. Selouan added a WPT Online title to his list of impressive achievements that include a partypoker POWERFEST victory, PokerStars Winter Series win, and a PocketFives Triple Crown that came last year in November. With this six-figure score, Selouan crossed $3 million mark in online earnings.

Event #54: $1,575 Bounty Hunter 8-Max $500K GTD
The $1,575 buy-in Bounty Hunter 8-Max pulled in a total of 369 runners to accumulate a prize pool worth $553,500. Barry Hutter topped the field after outlasting his heads-up opponent Joao Vieira to collect $42,400 in prize money and an additional $52,172 in bounties. This happens to be Hutter`s fourth-largest WPT cash to date and it took his lifetime WPT cashes to just over $1 Million. The runner-up Vierra walked away with $42,345 in prize money and another $25,617 in bounties.

The final event of the series was the $530 Closer that saw Russia’s Sergei ‘Futti18’ Koliakov walking way with the title. Koliakov bested a 1181- entry field for a $39,737 plus a $28,820 in bounties. Fellow Russian Stoyan Obreshkov finished runner-up for $39,677 and another $12,127 in bounties. France’s Ivan Emanuely also took to the final podium for which he banked a total score of $37,327.
