The WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit Series that runs until June 14 for those in Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware has awarded eight gold rings so far with Dan Wach being the latest ring winner.
Dan “fatdan44” Wach emerged victorious in Event #8: $100,000 GTD Online Finale Circuit NLH 2x Re-entry that featured a $215 buy-in and easily surpassed the advertised guarantee with a total of 577 registered players and 310 rebuys. The 887-entry field resulted in a whopping $177,400 in the prizepool that was eventually shared by the top 100 players with a min-cash starting at $372.
Wach captured the $42,576 first-place prize, his first WSOP Circuit ring, and a guaranteed spot in the online Global Casino Championship. Among other skilled players making it to the final table were James “DanFriel” Gilbert (runner-up for$22,529) and John “hotnix” Shul (9th place for $2,483).
Other notables who managed to cash the tournament included the likes of John Allan “BigEllory” Hinds (10th place – $1,951), Shannon “aulophobia” Shorr (16th place – $1,419), Ryan “Toosick” Tosoc (24th place – $887), and Lauren “sycamore22” Roberts who ended up in 82nd place for $372.
