After its month long run on GG Poker, the inaugural WSOP Super Circuit Online is a wrap! The $100 million GTD series featuring 18 ring events concluded on Sunday and wrapping it up were the final four events, including $1K buy-in Main Event featuring $5 million in guarantee. All four events on the schedule did pretty well, drawing players in big numbers and crushing their respective guarantees.
Event #17: Main Event $5M Gtd
The biggest attraction was undoubtedly was Event #17: Main Event $5M Gtd that drew 9,779 entries to surpass its advertised guarantee and result in a whopping prize pool of $9.2 Million. Germany’s ‘schimmelgodx‘ topped the field to win $1,271,218. He eventually defeated ‘Biereux’ who came in second place and earned $885,747. The final spot on the podium went to India’s ‘Igutu‘ who finished third for $617,164. There were two Indian players among the top 10 finishers. Another Indian player finishing deep in the event was ‘thehulk’ who bubbled the final table, finishing 10th for $49,208

Event #16: PLO Main Event $1M Gtd
There was also a Main Event for the PLO lovers. Event #16: $1,000 PLO Main Event drew 2,614 runners and collected $2,508,000 in prizepool. The top 368 runners finished in the money with ‘rubbherducky‘ emerging victorious to win $362,619. ‘Love2Spew‘ finished runner-up and earned $260,725. ‘jellopy77’ ended up in third place for $187,463. India’s ‘agentwinner’ also ran deep, finishing 11th and banking a good $18,623 for his deep finish in the tourney.

Event #15: Monster Stack $500K GTD
German players dominated the final day of the series. Another player from Germany walking away with a WSOP Circuit ring was ‘waransan‘ who shipped Event #15:$200 Monster Stack that gathered 5,216 entries, creating a prize pool of $959,744. Eventually, ‘waransan‘ banked $92,866 after a 3-away deal with ‘DameDolla‘ (runner-up for $88,153) and ‘geladinhaRLS‘ (3rd for $113,898).

Event #18: The Closer $500K Gtd [Turbo]
The final event on the schedule, Event #18: $500 The Closer that drew 2,405 entries and posted a $1,142,375 prize pool. Eventually, the title went to Craig ‘Goblue’ Varnell who already owns a World Series of Poker bracelet along with World Poker Tour and WPT500 titles. He eventually outlasted ‘Pokerguy21’ (runner-up for $119,951) in heads-up to bank an impressive $168,276 in prizemoney.
