Friday saw the third event of the 2020 WSOP Online, Event #3: $400 No-Limit Hold’em that drew a 2,091-entry field, resulting in a $752,760 prize pool. After about 12 hours of play, it was Robert Kuhn who came out on top to earn $115,850 in top prizemoney and his first gold bracelet.
Prior to the win, Kuhn had $373,450 in WSOP cashes. That included a WSOP Circuit victory for a prizemoney of $122,098 after winning the $1,675 Main Event at Harrah’s Atlantic City back in 2016.
Kuhn entered the final table with chip lead, while “AndrewFreund” was the short stack . The latter was the first to exit the final table in 9th place and he was followed by popular poker pro Roland “prngls12” Israelashvili, the WSOP’s all-time leader in cashes who finished in 8th place.
The next eliminations came in “pokeher2014” (7th place), Evan “Escott121181” Scott (6th place), Max “ndirish50” Huster (5th place) and “klubot” whose run eventually ended in 4th place. Evan “Escott121181” Scott, Max “ndirish50” Huster and “klubot” they all were eliminated by “Doc33”. Unfortunately for “Doc33”, his momentum came to a sudden end after he four-bet jammed with queen-jack suited only to run into the pocket kings of Kuhn and got busted in the 3rd place.
The final showdown took place between Keren and Kuhn. While the former managed to to seize the chip lead at one point, Kuhn reclaimed the lead to eventually ship the tournament for $115,850.
Top 330 places were paid out in the tournament and it was Angel “ChromeKing” Lopez who bubbled the tournament. After the bubble, the eliminations were quick and some notables to finish in the money were the likes of Matthew “Michmeister” Mich (298th – $602.20), Michael :miguelfiesta” Lech (235th – $677.48), Daniel “DNegs” Negreanu (210th – $677.48), Mark “wiscomurray” Kroon (171st – $$828.03), Ari “philivey” Engel (76th – $1,279.69), Joey “JOEYdaMUSH” Galazzo (41st – $2,408.83), Jackson “Actjacksn” White (15th – $5,796.25), and Edward “Eddiegood598” Espino (11th – $7,452.32).
