Dmytro “Too Bad” Bystrovzorov did remarkably well as he shipped Event #65: $600 NLHE Deepstack to claim his first WSOP bracelet, the WSOP Europe Package, and $227,906 in top prize. He defeated Florian “Gaug1nho” Gaugusch heads-up in a 2,911-entry field that resulted in a $1,659,270 prizepool.
Bystrovzorov has collected only two live cashes before and this win happens to be his biggest score ever. He hasn’t collected any cashes in the GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events but the eventual runner-up Gaugusch has already collected three cashes during the ongoing WSOP series.
The top 368 players were paid out with a min-cash of $1,424, including Vitor ‘Chickencorn’ India’s ‘LeChiffreFTW’, Abreum, Peter ‘BIG CHI’ Chien, Elio Fox, Alexandre ‘STAY_HUNGRY’ Reard, Chi Chung ‘chipuker’ Ho and so on. The FT was set after YoungSire exiting the tourney in 10th place for $12,321.
Portugal’s Giovani ‘Mandjocka’ Torre was the first player to exit the final table. Following him was Ivan ‘ivenson13′ Constantin who earned $23,833. One after another, eliminations continued and finally it came down to the heads-up after Matthew ‘Yellowbuddah’ Train exiting in third place.
Bystrovzorov began heads up with a 3-2 lead over Gaugusch. The dual lasted for nearly 35 minutes before Bystrovzorov finished off his final opponent. Bystrovzorov called from the button and Gauguch raised to 4,200,000. Bystrovzorov moved all-in and Gaugusch called with his tournament life at risk. Bystrovzorov tabled Ah 7s, while Guagusch showed Qd Qh. The board ran out Ac 8c 8h 3d 6d, giving the title to Ukrainian Bystrovzorov who banked a whopping $227,906 for his win.
