We are just three days away to wrap up the fantastic 18-day long WPT Online India (WPTOI) on Adda52.com. Day 15 was another action-packed day with a total of 10 tournaments on the day’s schedule, with 8 of them coming to their conclusion. An impressive 3,448 entries registered for the day, easily crushing the day’s INR 54.20 Lac guarantee and generating INR 58.42 Lac in prizemoney.
While several players padded their bankrolls with sizeable scores, headlining the list of the winners was none other than the well-known MTT pro Raghav Bansal as he shipped the day’s trophy event, 30 Lac GTD WPT Thursday Feature, to claim the single biggest score of the day worth INR 8 Lac. The win brought Bansal his second WPTOI trophy and title as he had won the 30 Lac GTD WPT Big Game on the opening day of the WPTOI series to win INR 9.67 Lac and his first WPTOI trophy.
Among other winners of the day, Devrat Singh won the 8 Lac GTD WPT Mini 6-Max for INR 2.24 Lac, while Amarjeet Singh took down the 5 Lac GTD WPT Classic, winning INR 1.02 Lac prizemoney. 2.5 Crore GTD WPT India Main Event Day 1D
The star attraction at the series, the 2.5 Crore GTD WPT India Main Event, played its fourth flight – Day 1D. The fourth of the event’s 10 flights recorded 226 entries and only 27 of them could make it to Day 2 of the event. Former Adda52 Millions winner Anik Ajmera aka “slotmachine” bagged the end of the Day 1D chip lead with a stack of 435,578 chips, while WPT Monday Feature champ Gagandeep Malik aka “gaganhyd” (239,716), Pranay Chawla aka “setmeup” (236,668), Vivek Singh “vivek94540” (189,887),and Dhaval Mudgal aka “dirtyzoso” (189,558) rounded out the top 5 stacks of the day.
30 Lac GTD WPT Thursday Feature With INR 5,500 Buy-in
The only trophy tourney to crown a winner on Day 15 of the WPTOI series, the 30 Lac GTD WPT Thursday Feature, logged in 640 entries, easily crushing its guarantee and generating a whopping INR 32 Lac in prizepool, which was shared by the top 72 players with a min-cash worth INR 6,400.
After more than 10 hours of play, the well-known MTT pro Raghav Bansal aka “balugawhale”, who had won the 30 Lac GTD WPT Big Game for INR 9.67 Lac on the opening day of the series, took down the 5.5K buy-in tourney to win his second WPTOI trophy and an impressive INR 8 Lac in top prize.
Ayush Garg aka “lazyman”, who had won the WPT Kickoff tourney on the opening day of the series, finished runner-up and walked away with INR 4.64 Lac for his efforts. Mohit “thejokerrrr” Mehta (3rd for INR 3,13,600), Rubin Labroo aka “kornkif” (4th for INR 2,24,000), Siddharth “gabandheer” Pandey (6th for INR 1,12,000 Lac), Gagandeep Malik “gaganhyd” (7th for INR 88,000), and Abhishek ‘Bong’ Paul (8th for INR 64,000) were the other notable online regs to final table the tourney.
15 Lac GTD WPT India Madness Day 1D
Besides the WPT India Main Event, the 15 Lac GTD WPT India Madness also played out its fourth starting flight, Day 1D. Registering an impressive 433 entries, Day 1D saw 66 runners making it through to Day 2.
Mystery user “rajroyrkl” (339,116) bagged the most massive stack of the day, while “DurrrSucks” (239,837) and “1234manoj” (219,814) rounded out the top three stacks of the day.
8 Lac GTD WPT Mini 6-Max With INR 2,200 Buy-in
Like the WPT Thursday Feature, the 8 Lac GTD WPT Mini 6-Max also wrapped up with a grand success, drawing in 502 entries to easily surpass its guarantee and generate a prizepool worth INR 10.04 Lac, which got distributed among the top 55 players with a min-cash starting at INR 4,518.
Devrat Singh aka ‘Vickypune’, who had won the WPT Multiplier for INR 99.4K on 6th November, came out on top to win INR 2.24 Lac in top prizemoney and his second title from the ongoing series.
Biplave Kumar “Bksingh1” finished runner-up for INR 1,57,095, while the WPT Thursday Feature runner-up, Ayush Garg aka “lazyman”, took the final spot on the podium, finishing 3rd for 95,380. Siddharth Karia aka “skaria1” (4th for INR 75,300) & Vishwanath Borhade aka “vish4u2″(6th for INR 35,140) were the other notables who ended their run at the final table of the 6-max tourney.
5 Lac GTD WPT Classic With INR 1,500 Buy-in
Running past a strong field of 321 entries in the 5 Lac GTD WPT Classic was Amarjeet Singh aka “amarjeet1989” who eventulaly struck a heads-up deal with “justmissed” (2ndfor INR 98,876) to bank INR 1.02 Lac in top prize. The final spot on the podium went to Neeraj Kumar aka “Kumartomar” (3rd for INR 55,000), who had won the 1.5 Lac GTD WPT Novemberfest on 14th November, 2020.
