This is a throwback to the inaugural WPT Online India (WPTOI) 2020, which was all the rage on Adda52.com with several thousands of players getting into the action from 5th to 22nd November 2020 in pursuit of WPT glory and hefty prizes. Exclusively meant for players in India, the online series featured a whopping INR 13.5 crores in guaranteed prizes across 154 events, and as expected, it received an overwhelming response, attracting a total of 60,434 entries to generate a guarantee-crushing prize pool of INR 15,15,24,396 that got distributed among the 2,856 players. Well known live tournament players such as Ashish Munot, Abhinav Iyer, and Raghav Bansal were among those who banked big wins. However, the culmination of the series had a dream ending for Kumar Sahaj, a relatively less known player who won the biggest tourney of the series, 2.5 Crore GTD Main Event, to win his first ever WPT title. Let us look back and relive top moments and highlights from the series!
