The inaugural 8 Crore GTD Adda52 Tournament of Champions (ATOC) series concluded last night. The final event of the series, the 10 Lac GTD ATOC Women’s Day Special, found a winner in Saumiya ‘Letsgetthemoolah’ Paithankar who won 2.50 Lac along with an ATOC Trophy. Dishani ‘DishVish22’ Vijay finished runner-up and walked away with 1.50 Lac for her deep finish in the special tourney.
The invitational event saw 30 participants with 29 of them finishing ITM. Other players who earned final table payouts were Gunisha “obimikel” Sinha (3rd for 1 Lac), Natasha ‘niktiks’ Khandera (4th for 63,000), Maria “DragonLady” Kirloskar (5th for 48,000), Simran ‘simmi1313’ Malhotra (6th for 40,000), Mahima “chotababy1” Walia (7th for 34,000), and Ruchika “Blufqueen9” Sharma (8th for 29,000).
Talking about her victory in the trophy event on Adda52.com, Paithankar said, “It was a great experience playing with such talented and amazing players! Thank you so much Adda52 for hosting an awesome women’s day special, I’m sure this will get more women into poker! Kudos to Adda52!”
8 Lac GTD Iron Man
With the ATOC series coming to a close, Adda52 returned to its regular MTT schedule. The Monday headliner 8 Lac GTD Iron Man drew 427 entries and outlasting the field was Siddharth ‘gabandheer’ Pandey who banked INR 1.98 Lac after defeating Pritam ‘pritam1301’ Amritkar (runner-up for INR 1.20 Lac) in second place. With his Iron Man win, Pandey crossed INR 2.55 Crores in online earnings.
2.75 Lac GTD Voyager
The other major tourney on Monday was the 2.75 Lac GTD Voyager that registered 260 entries. After almost six hours of play, Sunday’s ATOC Orpheus champion ‘pokraj’ added yet another title to his tally, winning INR 71,500 in top prize. Harsh ‘harsh1327’ Bubna placed runner-up for INR 42,625.
