Adda52’s 8 Crore GTD Adda52 Tournament of Champions (ATOC) will reach its crescendo today when it hosts the epic Finale of one of the largest guaranteed tournaments the poker site has offered in its history. Having kicked off on 25th February 2021, the ATOC series is heading for a grand finish with 14 ATOC trophies already awarded, and there are still 4 more trophy events remaining.
One of them is the ATOC Main Event Finale featuring a buy-in of INR 11K and boasting a gigantic 2 Crore GTD. The eventual champion of the MAIN EVENT will not only walk away with a whopping top prize but he/she will also get a beautiful Panerai Black Seal Watch and a fabulous trophy to lace it all.
Several Day 1s are already done and dusted. Some 986 entrants have registered so far, covering almost 50% of the original guarantee of the multi-day tournament. With two more flights still to go today, the prestigious tourney is inching towards meeting its lofty guarantee of INR 2 Crores.
The ATOC Leaderboard that offers 7.5 Lac to the existing ACL monthly 13.5 Lac leaderboard offering a mouth-watering 21 Lac up for grabs is extremely close and there is a tough fight going on for the top spot between Abhijeet “2abhisingh” Kumar (1402 points) and Abhishek “abhi_1234” Jaiswal (1103 points). Following them in third place is Devrat “vickypune” Singh (1040 points).
Grab Your Last Chance To Enter ATOC Main Event
The final two flights take place today with Day 1H starting at 1 pm. Day 1I kicks off at 4 pm and it is your last chance to make it through to the epic Main Event Finale kicking off tonight at 10:15 PM.
Each flight has a late registration period lasting till the end of the 23rd level and every player starts with 15k chips. The play will pause at the end of the 29 ten-minute levels. The survivors from all the flights will return for the event’s grand finale (starting at 10:15 PM) to battle it for the top prize, the title, and the trophy. To add to the fun, Adda52 will be live-streaming the final table of the tourney.
Outside of the Main Event, other big attractions include the 10 Lac GTD ATOC Women’s Day Special event, a wonderful initiative by Adda52 to honour the passion of women for the game of poker. The tournament kicks off tomorrow at 8 PM and the champion of this special event will not only walk away with a hefty top prize but also take home a beautiful ATOC Trophy. Day 1A of the 11K buy-in 2 Crore GTD Main Event saw 12 runners from a starting field of 74 entries advancing to Day 2. Among them, online reg in Parth ‘punit7690’ Aggarwal (226,748) bagged the chip lead, with ‘amarkhatri99’ (174,138), and ‘anantbansal’ (148,644) rounding out the top 3 stacks.
Day 1B – ‘firsttime’ (455,844)
Day 1B recorded 192 entries and only 18 players bagged Day 2 stacks, with the anonymous user ‘firsttime’ (455,844) emerging as the end of the day chip leader. Aditya ‘Adit11’ Kulkarni (286,165) and Siddhanth ‘SidStack’ Kripalani (262,021) carried forward the next top stacks of the day.
Day 1C – Naren Purohit (364,950)
The third flight of the event saw 11 players advancing to Day 2 from the field of 149 entries. Leading them was Naren Purohit aka ‘IMUNAGI’ (364,950 chips), with online reg Mithun ‘Themiths’ Mahesh (312,275) and Nadeem ‘nadeem0021’ Basha (259,205) rounding out the top three stacks of the day.
Day 1D – Raman Gujral (337,103)
Veteran pro, Raman ‘thuscame’ Gujral (337,103) bagged the end-of-the-day chip lead among 27 survivors out of 208 entrants on Day 1D, with Kavish ‘Narcos’ Kukreja (284,260) and online MTT crusher Ratul ‘riverking021’ Steves (213,021) carrying forward the next top stacks of the day.
Day 1E – Arjanveer Singh Chadha (259,175)
Day 1E recorded 158 entries, and only 19 contenders survived the day`s play, with Arjanveer Singh ‘arjan30’ Chadha (259,175) bagging the end-of-the-day chip lead. Rishabh ‘rishabh002’ Gupta (217,299) and Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall (184,161) carried forward the next top stacks of the day.
Day 1F – Shubham Goswami (379,648)
The sixth flight of the tourney saw a field of 205 entries, with only 22 players advancing to Day 2. Shubham Goswami aka “shubhamgoswami” (379,648) emerged as the chip leader, with Neel ‘neeljoshi23″ Joshi(307,527) and “starnaruto”(292,909) rounding out the top 3 stacks of the day.
