It was an explosive Thursday on Adda52 felts. Headlining the plethora of tourneys on Delta Corp’s market-leading poker site Adda52.com was the 50 Lac GTD Adda52 Big Game sporting a buy-in of INR 27,500. Running as part of the ‘Bulls Eye July’ promotion on the site, the high roller tourney drew a star-studded field of 182 contenders and outlasting them all to claim the title was the DOPT June Special winner Arun “runyrules” Sriram who banked a career-best INR 14 Lac for the win. Sriram has been in terrific form. This was his fourth tourney title of the month and it took his online winnings to INR 1 Crore.
The former Full House Finale champion Sanat “mehro2511” Mehrotra (runner-up for INR 8.40 Lac), Vivek “vivek94540” Singh (5th for INR 3,12,500) & Neeraj “neeraj2828” Bajaj (6th for INR 2,25,000) were the other prominent MTT players who ended their run on the Adda52 Big Game final table.
5 Lac GTD Monster Turbo
The other major tourney running as part of the ‘Bulls Eye July’ promotion was the 5 Lac GTD Monster Turbo. The INR 2500 buy-in tourney generated a guarantee-smashing prizepool of INR 6 Lac on the back of 267 entries. Walking away with the lion’s share of the prizepool was online reg Gokul “gokul5381” Murugesan who outlasted ‘charuz’ (2nd for INR 94,618) in HU to win INR 1.62 Lac.
NPS Day Day 1
Yesterday also marked the start of the much-awaited 1.5 Crore GTD Nano Poker Series and it set the Adda52 felts ablaze with eight tourneys playing out on Day 1. Setting the stage for what promises to be a super value series was the 12.5 Lac GTD NPS Mini Main Event. The INR 990 buy-in event played out the first of its six starting flight i.e., Day 1A. The opening flight logged in 169 entries, and after 29 levels of play, the field dwindled down to 27 survivors. Karan “gogikaran” Malhotra (229,810) bagged the biggest stack, with “you3bi4b” (202,718), Priya “priyaranjan2k12” Ranjan Das(182,347),”hg670″ (166,461) and “Checkthat” (152,517) rounding out the top 5 stacks.
Day 1 of the Nano Poker Series had seven tourneys playing down to a winner. The day’s headliner was the 3.20 Lac GTD Nano Godfather that logged in 583 entries. The top 89 places were paid out in the INR 550 buy-in tourney with Raghav “mrbean98” Ananth walking away with the title and the top prize worth INR 56,621. He finally outlasted ‘vishal4572’ in the heads-up who banked INR 41,090.
The other major tourney on Day 1 schedule, the 2 Lac GTD Nano DST, pulled in 297 entries to generate a guarantee-crushing prizepool worth INR 2.38 Lac that was shared by the top 30 finishers. Walking away with the lion’s share of the prizepool was Juli “Lily8” Kumari who pocketed INR 60,826 for the win. The mystery reg “Paulpogba” finished runner-up and banked INR 36,234.
