With the yet another Nano Poker Series (NPS) edition taking flight on Adda52.com yesterday, the online action on the site picked up the steam. Sporting a massive prize pool GTD of 1 Crore and 5 Lac in leaderboard prizes, the series caters specifically to low to mid-stakes players and we must say that the series got off to a flying start with almost all events faring well and crushing their respective guarantee on the opening day. More than 2000 hopefuls enrolled for Day 1 of the series and this resulted in a hefty 7.26 Lac prize money for the day. Let us have a look at the top results from Day 1!
Day 1 of the high-value series had seven events, headlined by the 2 Lac GTD Nano DST. The INR 880 buy-in tourney fared pretty well, drawing in 270 entries to comfortably crush its listed GTD and create a prize pool of INR 2.16 Lac. Finally, walking away with the lion’s share of the prize pool was the mystery reg ‘glycen’ who outlasted Vishal “Mitsen” Singh (2nd for INR 33,480) in the heads-up play to bank INR 56,160. The user ‘shraban56’ (3rd for INR 25,164) rounded out the podium finishers.
The other major tourney on the opening day of the series was the 1.7 Lac GTD Nano Inception. The INR 350 buy-in tourney enjoyed a successful run, drawing in 560 entries to surpass its listed GTD and create INR 1.78 Lac in the final prize pool. In the end, Sajid ‘sanzoo’ Gulzar took down the tourney for INR 27,723. He struck a heads-up deal with Sandeep ‘effuno’ Varma (2nd for INR 27,206).
The user ‘shraban56’ (Won Nano Monday Adda 90K GTD for INR 26,735), ‘t9ace’ (Won Nano Siesta 1 Lac GTD for INR 22,581), ‘ved234’ (Won Nano Crack Jack 70K GTD for INR 18,964), ‘harry1998haru’ (Won Nano Battleship 30K GTD for INR 8,680), and ‘KARNI7’ (Won Nano PLO 25K GTD for INR 7,250) featured among the other NPS title winners on the opening day of the series on Adda52.com.
8 Lac GTD Iron Man
Adda52’s Monday flagship, 8 Lac GTD Iron Man, logged in in 365 entries by the time late registration closed. The site’s regular ‘MallaNi’ was the last player standing and won INR 2 Lac in the top prize. The well-known poker pro-Laksh ‘boomtilt23’ Pal Singh placed runner-up and banked 1.21 Lac.
3 Lac GTD Voyager
The Voyager did better with a turnout of 392 runners generating the INR 3.92 Lac in prize pool. ‘the_brave’ came out on top to win INR 97,216, while ‘defeated’ placed runner-up for INR 58,800.
