Seven Champions Already Crowned & You Could Be The Next!
A popular tournament, Big Game, was first hosted by Adda52 in January 2021. The tournament was a tremendous success. The INR 27,500 entry buy-in event had posted a massive INR 57 Lac on the back of a gigantic 228 entry-field. The 38-year-old Rahul Jain from Delhi had emerged as the first-ever Big Game champion and banked a hefty INR 15.64 Lac – his second biggest online score!
Post his Big Game victory, we reached out to Rahul Jain who said, “The Big Game for all poker players is a platform to compare yourself and compete with the best players in the country. It’s very well-structured and gives the opportunity to display your poker skills and be rewarded handsomely.”
The second Big Game that took place in February was even a bigger success. The mega tourney drew in an impressive 231 entries and collected a guarantee-crushing prizepool of INR 57.75 Lac. Once again a Delhi player in Arsh Grover championed the Big Game and walked away with INR 13.77 Lac.
Vishal Singh (won the 3rd edition for INR 15.23 Lac), Goonjan Mall (won the 4th edition for INR 16.33 Lac), the recent ACL Finale champion Arun Sriram (won the 5th edition for INR 14 Lac) who was crowned as the newest Adda52 Team Pro in Goa, and last year’s WPT India Main Event runner-up Mohammad Azhar (Won the 6th edition for INR 15.37 Lac) became the next Big Game champions.
The most recent edition of the Big Game that took place in October last year was championed by Mithun Mahesh for INR 11.40 Lac. Mahesh is an online beast from Kerala who left his full-time engineering job to become a poker pro in late 2018 and the decision has paid off handsomely. Mahesh has been crushing it all the way since then and has over INR 6.34 crores in online winnings.
Talking about his Big Game victory, Mahesh said, “It feels great. To be honest, it was a fun ride. I tried to play aggressively and ran decently as well. I had a huge hand with Neel Joshi deep in the tournament, blind vs blind when I was chip-leading and he was second in chips. And it was a mad hand in which he ended up bluffing off the entire stack. That helped me navigate conveniently.”
You too can win and be the next Big Game champion. So, don’t miss out on the next Big Game happening on 27th February this coming Sunday. See you at the tables. Good luck, everyone!!
