To the delight of Indian poker community, Team India’s WSOP 2022 campaign has kicked off on a good note with our country’s poker superstar Aditya Agarwal making a nine-place finish in Event #3: $2,500 Freezeout NLHE worth $23,634 (INR 18.36 Lac) and setting the tone for the rest of the campaign! As we look forward to more Indians making a splash at the WSOP 2022, online poker back home is soaring high with several high-value online tournament series taking place side-by-side.
Sunday was indeed a blockbuster day on the virtual felts with a plethora of big GTD events taking place. Headlining the day’s action on India’s largest poker site Adda52.com were the Adda52 Millions & Mega Suits – both featuring 25 Lac GTD. While there were several regs and pros in contention, the former Godfather champion Ishan Chutani emerged as the top scorer of the day after winning the Adda52 Millions for INR 6.73 Lac. It was by far Chutani’s second time winning the Adda52 Millions.
25 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions
The biggest prize pool collection of the day came in the 25 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions that brought in a field of 259 entries, comfortably crushing its specified GTD and generating a prize pool of INR 25.90 Lac. While the top 27 players were paid out in it, walking away with the lion’s share was a former Godfather champion in Ishan “nerdguy” Chutani who banked INR 6.73 Lac for his victory. Online MTT beast Ujjwal “fourteenk” Narwal placed runner-up and banked INR 4.01 Lac in prize money.

Chutani topped a tough final table featuring the likes of Goonjan “gmtesting” Mall (3rd place for INR 3,01,735), Saurabh “newkidintown” Arora (5th for INR 2,20,150), Ritwik “ritwik27” Khanna (5th for INR 1,48,925) & the DPT April 2022 High Roller champion Aayush “aayusharya” Arya (6th for INR 1,10,075).
25 Lac GTD Mega Suits
Starting at 7:30 PM, the INR 5.5K buy-in Mega Suits saw Devang “spark123” Yadav overcoming a reg-infested field of 478 to win it for INR 6.12 Lac. Divik “luckysinghh” Arora placed runner-up for INR 3,62,500), while Nikita “princesskitana” F (3rd for INR 2,50,000) rounded out the podium finishers.

10 Lac GTD Sunday Showdown
Last week’s The Mint winner “VishuChi” was the last player standing in Adda52’s 10 Lac GTD Sunday Showdown last night. He came out on top of a 367-entry field to win it for INR 1.93 Lac in top prize money. He outlasted the user “deathknell” (runner-up for INR 1,42,602 ) in the heads-up battle.
