The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022 is now close to reaching its conclusion. The biggest attraction of the series, Event #70: $10K No-Limit Hold’em Main Event World Championship, saw 380 players return on Monday, and 124 of them advanced to Day 6. Each of the remaining players is guaranteed a minimum $62,500. James Hobbs (12,505,000) is leading the 124 survivors in chips, with Efthymia Litsou (11,675,000), Day 3 chip leader Aaron Mermelstein (10,680,000), PokerStars Ambassador Alejandro Lococo (10,020,000), and Alejandro Lococo (9,775,000) being the other big stacks.

From Team India, Sriharsha Doddapaneni (1,025,000) was the only player to advance to Day 5, but he exited the event in 249th place for $46,800, ending the team’s run in the prestigious tournament.
Out of the 15 Indians who had entered Day 3, only six players advanced to Day 4 of the event, namely Doddapaneni, Aditya Gurunath Systla (620,000), Chiraag Patel (345,000), Arsh Grover (328,000), MPL Poker Pro Siddharth Karia (267,000) & WSOP bracelet winner Kartik Ved (252,000).
While Doddapaneni advanced to Day 5, Aditya Gurunath Systla (575th for $25,500), Chiraag Patel (869th for $17,000), Arsh Grover (803rd for $19,000), MPL Poker Pro Siddharth Karia (747th for $21,000) & WSOP (Online) bracelet winner Kartik Ved (891st for $17,000) fell out on Day 4 itself.
