 Alok Bhatt Ships The Series Opener DPT 16.5K Warm Up Event For INR  9,80,920!

After a long grind, the first event of  the DPT November 2022 edition is in the books. The MTT player Alok Bhatt topped the 343-entry field, besting Bhavesh Mandali in a very short-lived heads-up that lasted just one hand. The win fetched Bhatt a career-high live score worth INR  9,80,920 in prize money, Mandalia collected INR  6,94,862 for his runner-up finish. Alok started the final table as the shortest stack but did amazingly well, busting several players from the final table like  Gaurav Idnani (8th), Deepankur (7th), Kaleem Pasha (3rd) and eventually Bhavesh (runner-up) to ship the coveted title. Many congratulations to Alok for his dhamakedar performance in the series opener!

Game Over In First Hand Of Heads-up Play, Bhavesh Mandalia Finishes Runner-Up

In the shortest heads-up match we have seen in a long while, it took just one hand to decide a winner. The deciding hand saw Bhavesh Mandalia shoving all-in with Qh 4h and Alok Bhatt from BB worke up with Qs 8h. The board ran out 7h 3h 9d Qc 5d where both found a queen pair on the board but Alok shipped it with higher kicker, winning INR 9,80,920 in top prize. Hello folks! One of the most-awaited live poker series in India – Deltin Poker Tournament has begun here at the stunning Deltin Royale casino in Goa! Getting the ball rolling for the prestigious series were the Main Event Satty and the High Roller Satty, both of which ran yesterday. Starting at 5 PM, the Main Event Satty found winners in Suffraz Alam, Prem Kumar, Ayush Singhal, Sanil Lalwani, Dhiraj Agarwal, & Kshitij Kucheria, while the High Roller satty found winners in Manoj Srinivas, Saransh Gary, Shashank Murarka, Avinash Tauro, Areyann Gurbaxani & Vikhyat Ahlawat.

Running alongside the Main Event and High Roller Satty was a multi-event satty for the DPT Warm-up, Bounty & PLO events. This multi-event satty crowned winners in Savvy Ranchal, Sameer Agarwal, Subhradip Roy, Jatin Sabani, Peush Singhvi, and Shashank Murarka.

While the series kicked off yesterday here at the luxurious Deltin Royale in Goa, the real grind begins today. Yes, we are talking about the DPT 16.5K Warm-up NLH starting at 12 PM in a while from now. This is an eight-max event where players start with a stack of 20k, with blinds starting at 100-200 and ante at 100. Each level will be of 30 minutes, while late registration/re-entry will close at the end of level 9.
