Chino Rheem has won Event #4: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em at the ongoing Poker Masters 2023. This was his first cash at the series and it came after his fair share of high and lows on the final table.
Rheem bested a field of 91 entries to win Event #4: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $218,400. When he came into the final table, he was ranked second in chips. However, the start was not the one that he had expected. He slipped a bit in the beginning but was able to turn things around for him. Two major hands came his way and he was able to vault him into a lead that he never relinquished
First hand where Chris Brewer four-bet jammed ace-jack into Rheem’s ace-king in the big blind. Rheem had AK that held, securing him a nice double up. The second was with Jonathan Little who four-bet shoved 87 suited into Rheem’s pocket queens. Again, Rheem held a better hand. These two massive hands helped him to secure more than half the chips during the four-handed play.
After elimination of Brock Wilson in third place, Rheem entered the heads-up with Little with a 4-to-1 chip lead. Little was able to close the gap, but Rheem regained the control to win Poker Masters title.
