Running from September 29 to October 8, Poker Dream 7 featuring a massive VND 40 Billion GTD and 27 trophy events is now in its final stage and the anticipation is soaring as it nears its climax.
While the Indian participation in the series is relatively modest, Team India’s Deep Raina is creating ripples. Displaying his effective MTT strategy, Raina has cashed seven tournaments during the series. His accumulated winnings in the series stand at an impressive VND 239.80 Million (INR 8.18 Lac).
Raina’s exceptional performances include a second-place finish in Event #6: Mystery Hunter Turbo where he placed second for VND 39 Million. Following his 17th-place in Event #1: Vietnam Open for VND 24,900,000, a 32nd place in Event #2: Mystery Big Hunter for VND 9,900,000, a 5th place in Event #4: Deepstack VND128,200,000, and a 2nd-place in Event #6: Mystery Hunter Turbo for VND 39,000,000, Raina finished 6th in Event #13: Pot Limit Omaha Turbo for VND 11,400,000.
It was Vietnam’s Tran Thi Xuan Ha who shipped Event #13: Pot Limit Omaha for VND 55.08 Million.

Vietnam’s Pham Duy Tien took down Event #14: Mystery Hunter Turbo (VND 117.70 Million), while Malaysia’s Foo Tuck Wai won Event #15: Win The Button Turbo for VND 102.016 Million. It is great to see Indians doing so well on the international felts and we expect to see more Indians shine, with the 28% GST implementation driving Indians to Vietnam and the nearby regions.
