Daniel Negreanu

Biography-

Daniel Negreanu was born and brought up in Toronto. He completed his education in Pineway public middle school, North York. Daniel was very naughty but ambitious in his childhood. He always wanted to be a professional snooker player. He learned the poker game at the age of 15. Due to his misbehavior and arrogant attitude, Daniel was expelled from high school.

Soon he started spending more and more time in playing poker at local charity casinos. Meanwhile he managed to build his bankroll and went to Vegas to pursue his dream of a professional poker player. But luck did not favor him and he was forced to come back to his home Toronto to rebuild the bankroll.

In 2005, the poker pro got married but his married life ended up with his divorce in 2007. Negreanu likes NHL (National Hockey League) and is its big fan. In fact, he is spotted wearing NHL jerseys of the Toronto Maple Leafs and other teams many times. Not only this, the poker pro also has a great history in philanthropy. Besides his frequent appearances at charity events and donations, he is also the founder of “Big Swing” charity golf events.

His life took an exciting turn in 1998 when the former made a history by winning the WSOP bracelet and rewarded with the title of “Youngest WSOP Bracelet Winner”. After that, he never looked back. With his sheer talent and excellent skills, he won four WSOP tournaments and emerged as the shining start of international poker circuit.

Daniel admits that his skills of reading an opponent are extraordinary and always work for him. He played at various tournaments and made it to the finals many times. In 2004, the poker expert again won the WPT tournaments. For his excellence in poker, he was honored by titles like “card player of the year”, “WPT player of the year”, “Tournament’s best all-around player” etc. The player has stats of 23 WSOP final tables which include 52 table finishes.

Presently, the kid poker is active in various activities. He owns an online poker card room “skin” site on his official site, Full Contact Poker, which also includes his blog and a variety of poker forums. He is also associated with PokerStars as its team member. He joined Wynn Las Vegas resort as its brand ambassador and also appeared in various television shows. He is also involved in writing his books on poker game. Not only this, the poker pro is also active in Hollywood industry and keeps on giving guest appearances in many movies like x-men origins, lucky you, the grand etc.
