To add thrill for the poker fan attending the World Series of Poker(WSOP) that started in the Rio, Las Vegas yesterday, some poker promotions like the WSOP.com Online Championships and the ‘Online Nine’ have been introduced. A prize money of $500,000 is at stake with entry to the wsop.com Online Championships awarded through freerolls.
The action rolls off with a ‘$100K Freeroll’ where in players have to sign up for an online WSOP.com account and they will gain free entry to the freeroll. It is an automatic entry but players have to be in the state of Nevada to play this Event #1 of WSOP.com Online Championships.
The talent poker player who wins this ‘$100K Freeroll’ will get entry to the ‘Online Nine‘ where the prize is another $100,000. This Online Nine is a prelude to the final ‘November Nine‘ that features the final table of the Main Event of the actual offline WSOP tourney. The Online Nine will be conducted on November 4-5.
To look for the other eight members of the Online Nine, eight other tournaments with a combined prize of $300,000 will be held through October 2013. Eight winners will then complete the Online Nine Final table which will then begin on Nov 4, 2013.
