John who has earlier created Pot Limit Omaha Training website, won his first ever Poker title in the No Limit Hold’em Event after a three hour heads up battle with Mangi Loeser. While John walked home with more than $320,000, Loeser won $200,000. Third placed Eric Blair was richer by $127,000 while Cada had to be content with $83,000. The final two in the six handed final table included Mike Mustafa and Kevin Stammen. Previously, John has made the money in the Main Event twice, in 2011 and 2012 with 58th spot last year being his best.
In Event #5, $2500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, Mike Gorodinsky consolidated his good chips stacks on the previous two days to take the title. He was third on Day 1 and chip leader on Day 2 and eliminated Kristopher Tong on Day 3 to win the WSOP Bracelet and $216,988. Tong won $134,000 for his second place finish.
