A bigger Indian turnout in Asian Poker Tour (APT) Philippines meant low action at the online felt this weekend. However, Indian grinders back home played some tourneys on Adda52, PokerStars and 888 poker cashing decent figures.
The weekend bash started with IOPT 1.5 Lac event on Adda52 on Friday night which kris_patna won bagging Rs 48,000 in the first place. Parashar Rai made a final table finish in the PS $11 NL Hold’em [Turbo, Progressive Super-Knockout], $20K Gtd. He pocketed $156.18 for the 5th place finish in this low-buy-in pokerstars tourney.
Action on Adda52 continued the next day in IOPT 3 Lac event. Pranay Kapoor aka mitarachi89 outplayed the field to grab the top prize of Rs 1,01,170. adityapatodiya finished in the runner-up place in the same event taking home Rs 60,400. felter1989 grinded the PS $109 NL Hold’em [Turbo], $15K Gtd on Saturday but his run came to an end in 15th place for $260.
Sunday saw the biggest cash coming from Ankit bajaj aka aob1986 who made a 3rd finish in PS The Hotter $109 [Turbo], $20K Gtd. Ankit thus, added $2,632.90 to his online earnings. Arsh Grover aka BigggTymeR grinded a number of tourneys across the 3 days but unfortunately he couldn’t strike a notable cash. However, he managed to cash over $1,000 in total across all events including $458 in the PS $215 Sunday Million, $1M Gtd.
In the game which finished in the morning on Monday, Shyam90000 had a good run in PS $77 NL Hold’em [6-Max, Turbo], $6K Gtd wherein he bagged $1,237.25 in the runner-up place. Abhishek Goindi was back in action on 888 poker and grinded the Mini FTOPS Event #1. He made a 7th place finish bagging $2,500.
