Martin Kabrhel won his 5th WSOP Circuit ring by taking down WSOP International Circuit Rozvadov Main Event for a €190,000 ($213,349) payday and €10k entry into the WSOP Europe Main Event.
With 650 entries paying €1,700 each, the Main Event created €1.1million in total prizepool, falling just short of the €1,103,500 guarantee. Only 23 returned for the final day play and this number quickly came down to a final table of 8, with Kabrhel being the most experienced among them.
2018 WSOP Europe SHR champion Kabrhel played well and went on to destroy the opposition, responsible for 5 of the 6 eliminations and this helped him to take the huge chip lead into HU against UK’s Harry Ross, who had earned his previous biggest score of $9,457 in the same casino.
The short stack tried his best but had to settle for 2nd place for € 110,000*($123,518) as Kabrhel finished him off very quickly. It is worth a mention that Kabrhel’s previous four rings and two bracelets were all won at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov, his favourite casino in the Czech Republic.
Kabrhel is Czech Republic’s number one player and this victory was his second biggest live score. With this huge victory, the player has taken his total live earnings well beyond $8 million.
