Sriharsha Doddapaneni Wins WPT India 2019 25k Big Bounty Title!
Level 25 (Blinds 40k-80k and Ante 80k)
And it is over! Sriharsha D. who won DPT Colossus Super High Roller last year has emerged victorious in the 25K Big Bounty Event. He bested a strong field of 225 entries in the tournament to win his first-ever WPT title for INR 6,63,830.
The final showdown took place between him and Ranjeet Negi. While Sriharsha had started heads-up as the chip leader, Negi fought well but could not go all the way, eventually finishing runner-up for a cool INR 4,66,150 as second place prize.
On the final hand, Sriharsha raised to 200k and Ranjeet Negi called.

Eliminations are quick in the ITM stage and a while ago, we saw WPT India 2017 champion Deepak Bothra exiting the event. Bothra who had started the day as chip leader became short stack and eventually decided to shove his remaining 90k stack holding Ah 10h in HJ. Sravanth Reddy from button shoved behind for 60k holding Qd Qh and Anshul Rajput who had them covered called with Kd Jd from BB.

There will be 29 hopefuls returning to the felts today at 2 p.m. for Day 2 of the WPT India 2019 25K Big Bounty here at the Deltin Royale in sunny Goa. Starting Day 2 as the chip leader is none other than the 2017 WPT India PLO champion – Deepak Bothra (700,000) and trailing him is Karan Kapoor (516,000).
A total of 225 entries were registered yesterday on Day 1 and the money bubble popped during the very last level (Level 15) of the day in Pradeep Sharma and now all the runners are guaranteed a min-cash of at least INR 19,500. The eventual winner will receive an impressive INR 6,63,830 along with the WPT trophy.
