Top British Poker Pro, Sam Trickett , well known for his runners up finish at the 2012 WSOP Big One for One Drop Event, has been signed by Everest Poker. He ends a one year lull since he remained unsponsored after his contract with Titan Poker ended in early 2013. Trickett is second in all time poker earnings with a huge $20 Million in winnings. With consistent performances and huge cash and tourament winnings, Trickett is now on home ground with the London based Everest Poker.
As part of his new association, Trickett will start representing the online poker room at the ongoing WPT Venice itself. He will work closely with the Everest Poker team in London and also attend sponsored live events as a coach and mentor. “I’m very excited to be joining Everest Poker,” Trickett said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to interacting with our players online and at Everest Poker Live events, where I’ll be playing and coaching. Everest is a great poker brand and I will be doing everything I can to make it one of the most recognized in the world.”
As part of his plan with Everest poker for the 2014 World Series of Poker(WSOP), Trickett will be putting up a 10% share for Everest poker players. Players of the online poker room will now have a chance to get a slice of Trickett’s winnings from this summers WSOP upto 10% barring any winnings from the $1M Big One for One Drop Event. As part of the WSOP package, he will also create a series of video blogs from Las Vegas where he will take the players around on a complete tour of life during WSOP and also coach them on mantaining a winning streak during tournaments.
Trickett, who has a consistent record in high stakes cash games across the world created headlines when he finished runners up behind Antonio Esfandiari at the 2012 Big one for One Drop event cashing $10 M. He also holds the distinction of leading the Team Europe to a WSOP Caesar’s Cup victory in 2013.
