The much-awaited Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) is currently underway on adda52.com and will continue till 17th May. So far 11 tournaments have been concluded with each event wrapping successfully. Yesterday’s biggest tournament was the 30 Lac GTD AOPS Calangute which was taken down by online poker phenom Anmol Mehta aka ‘anzzzzz’ who walked away with INR 8.21 Lac.
Mehta has been in scintillating form these past few weeks, going deep in dozen of online tourneys. It was just a few days ago that he won Adda52’s Hexagram and last night he added one more win to his resume. Some of his other recent scores include shipping AOPS Hitman, The Ballers, Hitman, etc.
Finishing runner-up was ‘vinaysk’ who banked INR 4.79 Lac for his run. Online regular Goonjan Mall found his way onto the podium, finishing 3rd for INR 3.25 Lac prize. Other notables present on the FT were the recent Full House Finale runner-up Kanav Parwal (6th for INR 1.19 Lac), Aniket Pradhan (8th for INR 68,473) and the well-known pro Akash Malik who exited in 9th place for INR 51,355.
The AOPS Calangute was a grand success as the marquee event attracted a total of 502 entries, resulting in a hefty INR 34.23 Lac prizepool, which was shared by the top 55 players. Others who finished deep were Romit Advani (12th), Sahil Mahbooni (14th), Deepak Singh (17th) and so on.

1 Crore GTD Full House Day 1A – Nishant Sharma Leads 37 Survivors!
Multi-day online tournaments are becoming extremely popular and this encouraged Adda52 to add the 1 Crore GTD Full House to its flagship Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS). Yesterday was Day 1A of the INR 5500 buy-in event and it saw a total of 333 entries that created INR 16.65 Lac in prizepool.
Following 29 levels of play, the day eventually ended with the 2018 WSOP Main Event best Indian finisher Nishant Sharma topping the 37 survivors with a stack of 348k. Sharma was followed by ‘KHighisGood’ (2nd – 328k stack), and the lawyer-turned poker pro Ashish Ahuja (3rd– 288K stack).

Bounty enthusiasts came in full force to take part in the 5 Lac GTD AOPS PKO Shots that drew a total of 265 and generated a guarantee-crushing prizepool worth INR 5.30 Lac. Top 27 made money, while the lion’s share eventually went to ‘chauhan188’ who shipped the event for INR 1.37 Lac in top prize.
The final table featured some well-known regs like Amit Dhall (3rd for INR 61,745), Sirhari Bang (4th for INR 45,050), Rishabh Baj (6th for INR 22,525), and Ritesh Tripathi (9th for INR 10,600).

The first event on Day 2 of the AOPS was the AOPS Brunch, a 3.5 Lac GTD tourney at INR 1250 buy-in. As expected, the event did reasonably well, drawing in a total of 526 entries and generating INR 5.98 Lac prizepool, which got distributed among the top 55 finishers. The lion’s share finally went to Anuj Laddhad aka ‘anuj1610’ who banked INR 1.43 Lac after defeating ‘newkidintown’ in heads-up.

Among other winners, online player ‘penguin07’ won the 2 Lac GTD AOPS Under the Gun for INR 63426, while the last event of the day – 2 Lac GTD AOPS Afterparty DST – crowned a winner in ‘foldkardunga’ who defeated ‘akashsaxena69’ (runner-up for INR 46,298) to bank INR 76,400.
