It was a firecracker Sunday on India’s no.1 poker site – Adda52. The online poker giant hosted several marquee tournaments yesterday, including the 50 Lac GTD Mega Suits Finale. The multi-day tourney drew a guarantee-crushing field of 1,050 entries across three starting flights to generate a whopping INR 52.50 Lac prizepool. Eventually, coming out on top of the huge field was Abhijith Cheruku who took down the multi-flight tourney to bank INR 10 Lac, the biggest prize of the day.
Cheruku outlasted a tough final table that had DPTX Main Event winner Deepak Raina (2nd for INR 7.13 Lac), Ranjeet Negi (3rd for INR 5 Lac), Akshay Kumar (4th for INR 3.5 Lac), Puneet Mishra (5th for INR 2.5 Lac), Sahil Mahboobani ( 6th for INR 1.75 Lac), & Gagandeep Malik (7th for INR 1.25 Lac).
The finale of the Mega Suits taking place yesterday saw only 113 players with 112 of them receiving a slice of the 52.50 Lac prizepool. Among the notables to finish ITM were the well-known pro Sumit Sapra (11th for INR 50k), Ankit Modi (12th for INR 50k), Pranav Bagai (13th for INR 50k), Ayush Garg (14th for INR 34k), Gaurav Sood (20th for INR 25k), Manish Lakhotia (22nd for INR 25K), Wilson Yomso (23rd for INR 25k), Laksh Pal Singh (25th for INR 25K), Myron Pereira (26th for INR 25K) and so on.

Another marquee online tourney on Sunday slate on adda52.com was the 25 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions that kicked off at 8 pm. With a buy-in of INR 11,000, a total of 285 runners took to the field taking the prizepool to a hefty INR 28.50 Lac. Eventually, topping the field was Avinash Koneru aka ‘avinkon’ who captured the top prize of INR 7.29 Lac. Sahil Chutani aka ‘bluffme19’ finished as the runner-up for INR 4.34 Lac, while Ravindra Arikeri aka ‘wormhole’ who finished 3rd for INR 3.27 Lac.
Top 30 places got paid with a min-cash of INR 22800. Another major attraction was Adda52’s 15 Lac GTD Big Slick sporting a buy-in of INR 2500. Like other marquee tournaments, the Big Slick wrapped up with a grand success, pulling in a total of 721 entries and generating INR 16.22 Lac in prizepool that was ultimately shared by top 80 finishers.
In the end, it was Bhavil Chopra aka ‘bhavilchopra’ who took down the tournament for INR 2.63 Lac, following a heads-up deal with ‘poking’ who walked away with INR 2.37 Lac for his deep run.
Also at the final table were the likes of Vishal Maharaj (3rd for INR 1,55,135), Manish Lakhotia (4th for INR 1,13,714) and Goonjan Mall (5th for INR 83,352) and Vivek Singh who finished 6th for INR 61,097.
