Jaswinder Singh Suri aka Bobbe Suri is a well known Indian poker player. Born & brought up in Mumbai, Suri completed his education there and by profession is actually a venture capitalist. Suri started playing poker casually and used to play online poker. Later, he started spending more of his time in playing online poker that too on high stake tables. His favorite favorite poker hand is AA. The poker grinder loves to play live poker events at Bellagio, Las Vegas. Besides playing poker, his hobbies are horse racing, listening music & Reading.
Suri is one of India’s high stake cash game players & has already won three most prestigious titles of poker world. Being primarily a high stake cash game player, he never had any bankroll constraint. Though Suri may not have the most number of tournament cashes in his pockets but he did take down one of India’s biggest tournaments.
In the World Gaming Festival Poker Tour – 2011, which included buy-in of INR 100,000, Suri claimed the top spot and won USD $66,778 as the prize money after defeating India’s well-known player, Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal, at heads up.
Suri owns many titles to his name including the main event (20K Freezeout Event) title at IPC 2011, wherein he won INR 465,000. He also played the ACOP Main Event 2013. Beside this, Suri finished at 64th place in NLHE Macau Poker Cup – Red Dragon event in 2013.
