The World Series of Poker have announced the dates for 2014’s biggest poker festival. The 45th WSOP will take place from May 27-July 14, 2014 at the Rio All-Suit Hotel and Casino.
Dan Harmetz wins WSOP Circuit Main Event at Harveys Lake Tahoe
While the poker world was concentrating its energies on the 2013 WSOP Main Event Final Table, Dan Harmetz was busy collecting his first WSOP Circuit ring. The retired hedge fund manager won the main event of the Harveys Lake Tahoe WSOP Circuit event getting $128,699 and a free entry in the National Championship, to be held at Caesars Atlantic City in the spring.
Scotty Nguyen, Tom McEvoy elected to 2013 Poker Hall of Fame
Scotty Nguyen and Tom McEvoy are the two latest inductees to the Poker Hall of Fame and will be inducted on November 3rd when the 2013 WSOP November Nine festivities kick off.
