Poker tells are not necessarily in the same league as math skills in poker, but being able to read your opposition is definitely an asset during a poker card game. Poker tells are essentially the simple signs that your opposition unconsciously give, which could indicate whether their play was true or a bluff. Seasoned players can give out false tells as well, just to throw opponents off track.
