The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) is currently hosting another edition of its live poker tournament series at the popular Kings Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. A number of exciting tournaments have been lined up for the series, with total of ten gold bracelets up for grabs.
The Colossus Event of the series ran longer and concluded just yesterday, with Israel’s Tamir Segal winning the title for $234,393 after beating 2,992 entries. The next event to begin was Event #2 – €1,650 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Deepstack where the field has whittled down to final 6 players. Leading the final 6 is the 2014 WSOP bracelet winner Asi Moshe with over 2 Million stack. Close to Moshe in chips for final day is UK’s James Bullimore (1,822,000) who re-entered the event.

Event #3: €550 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed
The third tournament to kick-off was Event #3: €550 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed. The first non-NLH tournament featured 2 starting flights. The opening flight registered 152 unique players and 78 re-entries to make it 230 entries in total. 21 players are remaining in the field. They are led by Israel’s Dor Tal (643,000) followed by Peter Jaksland (343,000) and Michael Magalshvili (339,000).
The opening flight also saw 2 Indians – Manish Goenka and Rakesh Lalwani. While Lalwani failed to make the cut for Day 2, Goenka (98,000) is still there among 21 survivors in this event. Goenka played really well and just before day’s end, he chipped-up against Stanislav Parkhomenko whose 10s 6d 5s 4d lost to Goanka’s Ad Qc 5d 4h on the board running out Qhs 8h 4s 8c 6h.
